From the police department:
No Shave November: For the first time, you will see some Warrington officer’s with a mustache, goatee, or even a beard. It’s for a good cause! Chief Friel is allowing those officers interested to participate in an awareness and fundraising campaign for cancer.
No-Shave November is a month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving and grooming in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness. The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.
Chief Friel’s Executive Assistant Char-Lynn Corscadden has created a campaign called “ Warrington Police Hoping for a Cure”. There is a link attached below for a contribution to the American Cancer Society.
