Warrington Township, in association with the courts and juvenile probation, began the first youth aid program in the county. The program was created as an alternative to sending first time youth offenders through the juvenile court system. Since the panel does have an impact on the juvenile justice system, the Bucks County Juvenile Probation Office has provided support to panels in the creation of standardized guidelines and providing training through the office of juvenile probation.
New Members to the panel will be required to successfully complete the training program which has consisted of one three hour class per week for five weeks. The Warrington Township Youth Aid Panel meets at 7:15 pm, on the second Wednesday of each month.
For an application or questions contact Deputy Chief of Police Richard H. Bradbury, Youth Aid Panel Supervisor at 215-343-3311 x 202.
