Warrington Police: Newly Promoted Lieutenant

Chief Friel promoted 11 year veteran Sergeant Glen Gottenberg to Lieutenant last evening at the Warrington Township Board of Supervisors meeting.  Lieutenant Gottenberg becomes only the 9th Lieutenant in Warrington Police history.  He will assume command of the patrol division, highway safety and K 9 operations for the police department.  Friends, family, and fellow officers from Warrington Township and all over Bucks and Montgomery County including the Pennsylvania State Police where present for the ceremony.  Lieutenant Gottenberg was administered his oath of office by Chief Friel followed by an official swearing in by the Honorable Judge Jean Seaman.  District Attorney Matt Weintraub was present for the ceremony and commended Lieutenant Gottenberg for his leadership and supervision on Bucks County DUI Taskforce.  The District Attorney and Lieutenant Gottnebrg have been working together for over 5 years on this taskforce. Congratulations Lieutenant Gottenberg!
