PENNDOT Awards County Line Road Work to James D. Morrissey, Inc. (JDM)

PENNDOT Awards County Line Road Work to James D. Morrissey, Inc. (JDM)- PENNDOT has awarded a $11 million contract to JDM for the restoration, reconstruction, and resurfacing of County Line Road from Kulp Road to Route 611 (Easton Road). The work includes road widening, replacement of a bridge over the Little Neshaminy Creek, traffic signal upgrades, guide rail installations, drainage improvements, ADA curb ramp installations, and other additional operations aimed to enhance safety and travel for the motoring public. When physical construction begins, westbound County Line Road will close between Kulp Road and Fairmount Avenue for approximately 1 year. In later construction stages, County Line Road will close in both directions between Fairmount Avenue and Park Road for approximately 8 months. During these closures, motorists will be detoured over Easton Road, Street Road, and Lower State Road. Physical construction is expected to begin in summer 2022 after utility relocation work is completed. The project is expected to finish in summer 2026.
