Warrington Police went before the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (PLEAC) in Harrisburg yesterday and were unanimously approved having met the standards to become a Pennsylvania State Accredi
ted Law Enforcement Agency. Chief Daniel Friel remarked, “Achieving accreditation is a testimony to the hard work of the entire department over the last 15+ months. We made a commitment to excellence in Law Enforcement”. Warrington is now one of approximately 131 agencies currently accredited in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This is quite an accomplishment considering there are over 1100 Law Enforcement Agencies in the Com
monwealth. Chief Friel continued, “This is a proud and special time for our police department and we want the community to know that our department meets the highest standards for policing in Pennsylvania and they are committed to maintaining them.”
