The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that pipe replacements are scheduled as part of a project to address stormwater management on over 90 state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Tuesday, January 3 through early April 2023, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on northbound Route 611 (Easton Road) between Bristol Road and Kelly Road in Warrington Township, Bucks County.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this $14.9 million project, which is financed with 100% state funds.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
