Bike, Hike, and Trails Committee

We have an opening on the Bike, Hike, and Trails Committee. This is a great committee committed to improving and promoting the expanding trail system in the Township. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Advising the Board of Supervisors regarding issues for bicyclists and pedestrians
• Investigate and analyze appropriate bike and pedestrian routes in the Township
• Coordinate potential extensions and connections with adjoining municipalities
• Establish programs and events to encourage the use of trails and outdoor spaces

The committee works with other committees to help expand the trail system and to inform residents of the benefits of enjoying getting out and walking, running, and riding safely throughout the Township. This committee meets once a month on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm.
