Public Service Announcement: Residential Sprinkler Systems (Posted October 20, 2021)

Posted on: October 20th, 2021 by jwilson

It has been brought to the attention of the Warrington Township Emergency Management office that some homeowners with sprinkler systems are having sprinkler systems shut off in their homes. Those homeowners who re-piped the sprinkler system, a permit is required. In addition, in the event a fire occurs if the sprinkler system has been shut off, it’s likely that the homeowners insurance policy will deny a claim.

Posted on: October 7th, 2021 by jwilson

At the September 28, 2021 meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Warrington Township renewed its commitment to local businesses by extending the outdoor dining opportunity through April 30, 2022.

“We believe it is important to support our local restaurants who want to continue to operate with outdoor dining as the weather pulls people back indoors. This will continue to support social distancing and an opportunity for residents to gather and eat at their favorite restaurants in Warrington Township,” says Chairman, Fred Gaines.

Restaurants can apply for the extension through a form available HERE. Any questions regarding the application can be directed to Christian Jones, Assistant Township Manager, at cjones@warringtontownship.org or call 215/343-9350.
