IPW has hosted the annual Memorial Day Ceremony. Igoe, Porter, Wellings Memorial Field is named after three Warrington Service men, who died serving their country.

John Paul Park at Lower Nike once was the Nike Base, a working military missile silo that has since been closed and dedicated to the Township. All pavilions and band stand have direct access to public water and electricity. John Paul Park at Lower Nike is a favorite spot for party rentals.

Special Equestrian Center

The Special Equestrian Center was built on a forty-acre tract that links the Township and County Parks as well as privately owned open space. It is a state of the art facility that is the only therapeutic riding facility in Bucks County for disabled children and adults. It was the training facility for the 1999 Pennsylvania State Equestrian Team for the Special Olympics World Games held in June in Raleigh, N.C.
