The Bucks County Association of Township Officials (BCATO), in partnership with the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission and Doylestown Township, is hosting a free event for residents interested in learning more about the opioid crisis in the county and receiving Narcan training — Narcan is a prescription medicine that blocks the effects of opioids and reverses an overdose.
Opioid Panel: Barbara Lyons, Chairman of the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors; Diane Rosati, Executive Director of the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission; and Matthew Weintraub, Chief of Prosecution in the Office of the Bucks County District Attorney
Narcan Training: David Fialko will be providing training. He is an internationally-certified prevention specialist with 14 years of experience working in the drug and alcohol field and oversees the distribution of Narcan and facilitates trainings for participating Bucks County Police Departments.
